Is FreeAstroKundli really free?
Yes — our three core tools are completely free to use. Daily Horoscope, Free Kundli, and Kundli Matching are all available at no cost, no signup required. For users who want a deeper analysis, we offer an optional Premium Full Kundli and Full Kundli Matching Reports for a small one-time fee.
How are the readings generated?
All readings are generated by artificial intelligence using classical Vedic astrology principles. Our system uses your birth details — date, time, and place of birth — to calculate planetary positions and interpret them according to Jyotish tradition. Horoscopes are refreshed every night at midnight.
Is my personal data stored?
No. We do not store your birth details, name, or any personal information entered into our tools. Every reading is generated fresh at the moment you request it. We do not create user accounts or maintain personal profiles.
Are the readings accurate?
Our readings are based on classical Vedic astrology principles interpreted by AI. They are intended as a general guide and source of reflection — not as precise predictions. The accuracy of any astrological reading depends on many factors including the accuracy of your birth time and place. We always recommend consulting a qualified human astrologer for important life decisions.
What is the difference between Vedic and Western astrology?
Vedic astrology (Jyotish) is the traditional astrological system of India and is based on the sidereal zodiac — the actual positions of constellations in the sky. Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac which is based on the seasons. As a result your Vedic sun sign may differ from your Western sun sign. FreeAstroKundli uses the Vedic system exclusively.
What is a Kundli?
A Kundli — also known as a Janam Kundli or birth chart — is a map of the sky at the exact moment and place of your birth. It shows the positions of the planets across the 12 houses of the zodiac and is used in Vedic astrology to understand personality, life path, relationships, career, and timing of events.
What is Kundli Matching?
Kundli Matching — also known as Guna Milan or Ashtakoota matching — is a traditional Vedic method for assessing compatibility between two individuals, most commonly used before marriage. It evaluates 8 categories (Gunas) for a total score out of 36. A score of 18 or above is generally considered acceptable for marriage. Our tool also checks for Manglik dosha status for both individuals.
What is Manglik dosha?
Manglik dosha occurs when Mars is placed in certain houses of the birth chart. It is traditionally associated with challenges in marriage and relationships. The significance and remedies of Manglik dosha vary widely among astrologers and traditions. Our tool identifies its presence but we strongly recommend consulting a qualified astrologer for a detailed personal assessment.
Why does my Vedic sun sign differ from what I know?
If you are familiar with Western astrology you may be surprised that your Vedic sun sign is different. This is normal and expected — the two systems use different zodiacs. In Vedic astrology the Moon sign (Rashi) is considered more important than the Sun sign for daily predictions and personality analysis.
How often are horoscopes updated?
Daily horoscopes are refreshed every night and are specific to each of the 12 Vedic sun signs. Each sign receives a fresh 9-line reading covering different areas of life.

What is the Premium Full Kundli Matching Report?
The Premium Report is a detailed Vedic compatibility analysis that goes far beyond the free matching tool. It includes a full 36-point Ashtakoota Guna breakdown with detailed explanations for each of the 8 Gunas, Navamsa chart compatibility analysis, detailed Manglik dosha assessment for both individuals, marriage timing guidance, a 5-year relationship forecast, relationship strengths and challenges, personalized remedies where applicable, and a comprehensive overall assessment.
How much does the Premium Report cost?
The Premium Full Kundli Matching Report costs $1.99 USD as a one-time payment. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no hidden fees. Pricing in Indian Rupees will be available soon.
How do I receive my Premium Report?
Your report is generated instantly and displayed on screen immediately after payment. After completing checkout you will be automatically redirected to your report page. The report takes a few moments to generate as each section is created fresh based on your specific birth details — please keep the page open while it completes.
I paid but my report did not appear. What should I do?
First, make sure you stayed on the report page while it generated — the full report can take up to a minute to complete all sections. If your report still did not appear, please email contact@freeastrokundli.com with your order confirmation and the birth details you entered, and we will resolve it promptly.
Can I view my Premium Report again later?
Each report is generated fresh at the time of purchase and displayed on screen. We recommend saving your report — take screenshots or use your browser's print function to save it as a PDF for your records. Because we do not store your birth details, we cannot regenerate a past report automatically.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. Payments are processed securely and we never see or store your card details. Additional payment options including UPI for India will be added soon.
What is your refund policy?
Because the Premium Report is a digital product generated instantly and delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are final once the report has been generated. However, if a technical error prevented your report from being delivered, contact us at contact@freeastrokundli.com with your order confirmation and we will either ensure you receive your report or issue a refund.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Wix Payments, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see, handle, or store your credit card information. Your birth details used for the report are used solely to generate your report.
